All India Marwari Mahila Samity, under the presidentship of Smt. Alka Bangur alongwith her team, was set to undertake a journey to help downtrodden, spread education especially to girl students, extending relief operations during natural calamaties and helping weaker section of the society, particularly women.

Since past seventeen years, the samity has given stipends to more than 6500 girls and about 1000 girls for computer training course. Scholarships are given to needy girls in the field of Nursing, Montessori courses, fashion designing and language interpreters.

The Samity has given scholarships to more than 900 needy students for Higher Education in Rajasthan as well as in West Bengal.

Every year various events like Diwali Mela, Rakhi Mela etc are organised where exhibition cum sale helps these women to be self-reliant. The cause is mounted with the honest effort to support the women in their battle against social injustice which prevails in the Indian society.

The samity has contributed at various levels in construction of institutions, computer centres, public utility service, providing financial and medical support to needy institutions, distribution of blankets, clothes etc, and adoption of needy students in various schools.

Educational and Other Achievements by the Samity :

The Samity contstructed enture first floor of the Jatindra Nath Vidhya Mandir at Gopalpur, Maheshtala, Kolkata. the complete electrification of the floor has been done by the samity. Tables, chairs, computers were given to the Vidhya Mandir. A toilet has alos been constructed on the same floor. In the year 2014, the samity built a hall at Jatindra Nath Vidhya Mandir New Building and provided it with 50 ceiling fans for classrooms.

The Samity adopts and educates nearly 500 needy girl students in the following schools every year in the state of Rajasthan and West Bengal :

        a – Gramothan Vidhyapeeth Sansthan, Didwana
        b – Vidhya Shree Public School, Didwana
        c – Didwana Bal Mandir, Didwana
        d – Didwana Women’s Mahavidyalaya, Didwana
        e – Asha Bhawan Centre, Howrah

In the year 2009-10 the samity contructed two classroooms of the Jatindra Nath Vidya Mandir at Gopalpur, Maheshtala Kolkata

The samity constructed one computer room of Parmanand School Trust, Didwana, Rajasthan and two computer sets are given for educational help.

Two computer sets are given to Vidhya Shree Public School, Didwana, Rajasthan, 2 computer sets given to Didwana Bal Mandir, 2 computer sets given to Didwana Women’s College in Rajasthan

The samity has also installed tubewell, surface drainage system at Shri Ramkrishna Ashram, Uluberia Dist. Howrah.

Samity has provided financial support to Mahila Dakshata Samity, Hyderabad for weaker section of girl students supporting the empowerment of women and achievement of self reliance.
Carpet was also provided by the samity at Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, Dakshineshwar.
In the remote areas of West Bengal, blankets were distributed by the samity for the needy. Samity had renovated a Home for 10 destitute boys at Sri Ramkrishna Ashram, Uluberia, Howrah. 
More than 60 tubewells were dug and constructed pyayu/reservoir in the state of Rajasthan to provide water to villagers and cattle and helped the farmers.

In 2011, the samity has given financial support to the Seva Samity (old age home) at Pali District, Rajasthan for purchase of generator system for electricity.

Free eye operation camps are organised every year by the samity at Howrah Lion’s Club and other locations, and more than 200 patients are benefited every year. Free medicines and blankets are also distributed to large number of poor and the needy. The samity constructed a hall in Howrah Lions Hospital New wing in 2014 to accomodate 100 more patients.

Ambulance Vehicle was donated to Elmhirst Institute of Community (EICS) Nababithika, Andrewspalli, Shantiniketan, West Bengal. Samity also donated Digital Video Coploscope ( Uterus Cancer Machine) at Marwari Relief Society, Kolkata.
